Welcome

The BUSY Project works with young people Uphall and Broxburn area of West-Lothian helping young people reach their God-given potential.
The Broxburn, Uphall and Strathbrock Young Peoples’ Project (BUSY for short) is an initiative of the BASICS Trust, a registered charity formed in 1996 in West Lothian. The project consists of a formal partnership between three Church of Scotland churches (Broxburn, Uphall South and Strathbrock), Scripture Union Scotland and the BASICS Trust and we are happy to be working with a range of partners in the local area, including schools, churches and community groups.
We have employed a full-time youth worker, Gordon Rouse, since August 2005, and have a team of over 30 local volunteers and support and offer a range of activities for young people.
We are currently working on a new website. Feel free to get in touch for more information about any area of the project using the contact page.
