Welcome to the busy project
Coronavirus has changed 2020 for all of us, and here at the BUSY Project we've adapted to that. Within a week of the original Lockdown in March, we we offering online youth groups. We did zoom quizzes, zoom parties, zoom Plasticine workshops, zoom everything! Online groups ran up until early autumn, when we were able to resume face-to-face, socially distanced youth work outdoors. Throughout all of this we have been deeply impressed with the resilience of our young people and their commitment to one another and our community.
so what's Next?
A change in government guidelines mean that we are now able to offer some indoor youth work, still socially distanced, but a welcome development after a few rain-soaked outdoor sessions! We have completed all the government advised risk assessments and procedures.
We will continue to offer a mixture, with some groups online and some in person.
